'Conscious.'

In response to the growing awareness and concern for global climate change, Target Australia has an ambition to redefine what sustainability means in the Australian apparel industry and to use our scale of business to have a genuine and meaningful impact. 

Thus 'CONSCS.' our Conscious range was created.

We are introducing a 'Conscious' range for men that embraces the development of new sustainable fabrics, trims and processes for clothing. The Conscious range consists of elevated basics in clean silhouettes that have highlight details in pops of contrast colour stitch, a play in texture and reflective details. The intention of the range is to create a timeless aesthetic to decrease the quantity of textiles sent to landfill.

Hemp/Organic Cotton fabrics are used because of the reduced environmental footprint and increased positive health impact on soils and local community secondary income opportunities.

No virgin polyesters are used within the range and ocean plus recycled plastics are developed into fabric, buttons and zips. 

Our stainable denim embraces new denim technology to reduce the water and electricity use while turning toxic byproduct waste into affordable housing for local communities.
